Why use it
Every benefit below describes something the Futures page actually does. It helps you see moves sooner; it does not predict them.

Top gainers and top losers (top 5 each) update with the category you pick, so the contracts moving most are always at the top.
Live Movers flags contracts up 2%+ or down 2%+ on the day and 0.3%+ in about five minutes, so you do not have to scan the board by eye.
Alerts from the same feed and rules as the Day Trading page sit at the top of the page. Included with the $19/mo Alerts plan.
A Futures status tile shows Globex open/closed, the next break or reopen, and how old the data is.
Last price, change vs prior settlement, % change, day range, volume and an intraday sparkline for every contract. Click a contract to open its chart.
Category tabs and a search box (try Gold, CL or corn) get you to the contract you want in a keystroke.
The full board is open to everyone with no account. You only pay if you want the live alert panels.

Live Movers detects SURGE, DUMP and 5M moves from the live board. The live alerts bubble at the top adds alerts from the Day Trading feed. Both are unlocked by the $19/mo Alerts plan.
Click any row to open its chart, and check the Futures status tile to see whether Globex is open and how fresh the data is.

Quotes are front-month futures from Yahoo Finance, which can be delayed about 10–15 minutes for some CME contracts. The board refreshes frequently, and if the source is slow the page says so and shows the last good snapshot. Change and % change are measured against the prior settlement. Data may be delayed, incomplete or unavailable, and is for information only.
Yes. The Futures board, summary tiles, top gainers and losers and category tabs are open to everyone, including logged-out visitors. The two live-alert panels on the page (the live alerts bubble at the top and the Live Movers panel) are included with the $19/month Alerts plan, and also with Full Desk ($49/month).

Not guaranteed. Quotes come from Yahoo Finance front-month futures data, which can be delayed about 10-15 minutes for some CME contracts. The page shows how old the last refresh is and notes when the data source is slow and a last good snapshot is being shown. Do not use it as an execution-grade price feed.
They are labels Alerts Pro assigns from the live board itself, not from an external alert service. SURGE means a contract is up 2% or more on the day, DUMP means down 2% or more on the day, and 5M means it moved 0.3% or more since about five minutes earlier.
It uses the same alert feed and rules as the Day Trading page, and it is unlocked by the $19/month Alerts plan. Without a plan it appears blurred with a prompt to subscribe.

The page shows a Futures status tile based on CME Globex hours in Eastern Time: a daily break at 5:00 PM ET, reopening 6:00 PM ET, and a weekly close from Friday 5:00 PM ET until Sunday 6:00 PM ET. Exchange holidays and special hours can differ, so check the exchange for exact schedules.
